Workmanship Warranty

Every Ink Hive commission is warranted against manufacturing defects for a period tied to its tier. Statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in addition and are not affected.

Coverage by tier

  • Atelier (£40 – £250): 30-day defect warranty from the date of delivery.
  • Signature (£250 – £1,500): 12-month workmanship warranty.
  • Bespoke (£1,500 – £5,000): 24-month workmanship warranty; extended SLA available on request.

What is covered

Structural failure due to print defects, delamination not caused by misuse, and finishing defects present at delivery. Where a defect is confirmed, we will at our discretion reprint, repair or refund the affected item.

What is not covered

  • Wear and tear, cosmetic degradation from UV, heat or chemicals.
  • Damage caused by misuse, drops, modification or unauthorised repair.
  • Faults in customer-supplied 3D files, artwork or specifications.
  • Fitness for a clinical, aerospace or safety-critical purpose beyond the specification you provided.
  • Colour variance within manufacturer-published tolerance.

How to claim

Email info@inkhive.app or call +44 7376 539 608 within the warranty period with your order number, photographs of the defect, and a short description. We aim to respond within one business day and to resolve valid claims within 14 days. Do not dispose of the item until the claim is resolved — we may need it returned (postage paid by us on valid claims).

Consumer rights

If you are buying as a consumer, this warranty is offered in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not affect them.
