Ink Hive Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected via this website. We handle your data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Contact details (name, email, phone, delivery address) when you enquire or place an order.
- Order and payment metadata (order number, amount, processor reference). We do not store card numbers.
- Files, artwork and briefs you upload for production.
- Basic technical data (IP, browser) for security and analytics.
Why we use it
- To provide quotes, produce and deliver your order (contract).
- To comply with tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations (legal obligation).
- To defend against chargebacks and disputes (legitimate interests).
- To send you occasional updates only if you opt in (consent).
Sharing
We share personal data only with couriers, payment processors (Stripe, Shopify Payments) and our accountants, all under written data processing agreements. We never sell your data.
Retention
Order and financial records are retained for 7 years for HMRC. Artwork and production files are kept for 2 years to support reprints and warranty claims. Marketing consent is retained until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
